Philadelphia Flyers prepare to hit the ice at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall this Sunday, November 9

As announced last month, the Philadelphia Flyers will hit the ice for open practice at Boardwalk Hall this Sunday, November 9 at 12:30 p.m., which will be the first full team practice in Atlantic City since 1982.

Below is a schedule of events for Sunday:

  • 11:30 a.m.- Doors will open which will give fans the opportunity to enjoy concourse activities before the start of the practice
  • 12:30 p.m.- Philadelphia Flyers open practice begins

Fans are encouraged to arrive to practice early as there will be plenty of activities taking place on the Boardwalk Hall concourse level. Flyers alumni, Bob Kelly will be signing autographs and the Flyers Ice Team will be on hand for photo opportunities. Fans will also have the chance to win tickets to an upcoming Philadelphia Flyers game by partaking in Boardwalk Hall’s “You Lucky Dog” contest. With every purchase of a hot dog comes the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to the Flyers home game vs. the Florida Panthers at the Wells Fargo Center on December 18 at 7 p.m. Three lucky winners will receive a specially marked stamp on their hot dog carton with instructions to claim their tickets. Area vendors such as the Flyers Skate Zone, Lucy the Elephant, and Jersey Family Fun will also be on site with interactive displays to enjoy.

Additionally, concession stands will be open on the Boardwalk Hall concourse and Flyers merchandise will be available for purchase throughout the afternoon.
