Pipe Organs of Boardwalk Hall

Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall houses the largest musical instrument on earth.

More powerful than a dozen orchestras, it can both whisper and thunder into the 5.5 million cubic feet of air space in the main arena. A second instrument by W. W. Kimball is also part of the Adrian Phillips Theater. Both of these incredible machines were included as part of the original stage equipment for the building and can be seen and heard in operation every weekday for 1/2 hour concerts and tours May- August at 12 noon as well as part of the entertainment for some shows.
