Boardwalk Hall Receives Top Honors From Industry Publications

ATLANTIC CITY’S BOARDWALK HALL RECEIVES TOP HONORS FROM INDUSTRY PUBLICATIONS

 

Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, which provides Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall and the Convention Center, is pleased to announce Boardwalk Hall has once again been recognized as a ‘Top Stop’ by two entertainment industry publications.  Both VenuesToday Magazine and Pollstar Magazine have ranked the historic venue highly among the top 200 in the world.

 

In the 10,001-15,000 seat capacity category, VenuesToday Magazine has ranked Boardwalk Hall as the 17th in the world and 8th in the US. This ranking is derived from concert and event grosses reported to the publication from October 16, 2015 through October 15, 2016.

 

As part the of the Year End Worldwide Ticket Sales edition, Pollstar Magazine ranked Boardwalk Hall for reported events as the 157th top ticket selling venue out of 200 worldwide and 86th in the US. The chart is based on ticket sales to non-sporting events at each facility from January 1 through December 31, 2016.

Additionally, twelve Spectra by Comcast Spectacor properties are among Pollstar Magazine’s Top 200 Venues for 2016 including the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA; Budweiser Gardens in London, ON; the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA, and the PPL Center in Allentown, PA.

 

Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center are owned and funded by the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA). Spectra by Comcast Spectacor provides both Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to Boardwalk Hall and the AC Convention Center.
