Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall Receives Top Honors from Industry and Local Publications

Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, which provides Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall and the Convention Center, announced the historic venue on the boardwalk has been voted ‘A Must Play Venue of 2016’.

Amplify Media, a website and magazine dedicated to the event industry selected Boardwalk Hall, as “A Must Play Venue of 2016”. As part of their Standing Room Only Feature, which was designed to connect North America’s top-grossing facilities with their large readership of agents, promoters, and managers, Boardwalk Hall placed among the top 20 venues selected out of over 100 entries.  As part of the feature, venue staffs were tasked with creating a viral video showcasing elements that set it apart from other facilities in the country. Among submissions, the following video ranked 4th:

In addition, the venue received top honors at the end of 2015 by Venues Today Magazine and Pollstar Magazine, both industry publications covering the entertainment industry.  Each ranked Boardwalk Hall as a top stop in regards to ticket sales and event grosses in the country and world.  Among venues with capacities of 10,001 to 15,000, Venues Today ranked Boardwalk Hall 7th in the country and 14th in the world for events reported October 16, 2014 through October 15, 2015.

As part the of the Year End Worldwide Ticket Sales edition, Pollstar ranked Boardwalk Hall for reported events as the 118th top ticket selling venue out of 200 worldwide, and 56th in the US.

Locally, Boardwalk Hall was selected as the “Best Concert Venue” in southern New Jersey voted by readers all summer long in SJ Magazine’s Readers’ Poll.
