Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall Ranks #1 in US for First Six Months of 2015 by Leading Industry Publication

Atlantic City’s Historic Boardwalk Hall is ranked  number one in the United States (and ninth in the world) for facilities with capacities of 10,001 -15,000 seats for the first sixth months of 2015 by Venues Today, an industry leading publication catering to the event and arena management industry.

The publication released its mid-year venue rankings, based on concert and event grosses from October 16, 2014, through May 15, 2015. During this period, Spectra, which provides both Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to Boardwalk Hall, welcomed 128,591 visitors over the course of 19 shows, grossing $8,021,733 at the historic Atlantic City venue. Top events included Fleetwood Mac, Florida Georgia Line, Marc Anthony, Katt Williams, and Charlie Wilson.  This is the second consecutive year that Spectra garnered this recognition for Boardwalk Hall since taking over management of the venue in January 2014.

“We are thrilled that Boardwalk Hall has secured the top spot in Venues Today’s mid-year rankings in the category of top performing mid-sized arenas for 2015,” said Spectra’s Fran Rodowicz, General Manager of Boardwalk Hall. “It's been one of the busiest years here at Boardwalk Hall in a long time and we are looking to continue to bring in a diverse mix of entertainment.  This recognition would not be possible without the support from Live Nation and our other partners and event promoters that we have worked with for continuing to bring shows and productions to Boardwalk Hall and the Jersey Shore."

Upcoming shows at Boardwalk Hall include Kapil Sharma on July 25, Chayanne on August 8, The 2016 Miss America Competition on September 8-13, Madonna on October 3, AC Comedy Fest on October 10-11, and Ricky Martin on October 17.
