Atlantic City Comedy Festival Returns to Boardwalk Hall October 7-8

The 8th Annual Atlantic City Comedy Festival has been announced to take place at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall on Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8, 2017.  Scheduled headliners for the festival include comedian/actor Mike Epps, Sommore, Earthquake, Arnez J and many others (see below for full list of comedians). The festival debuts top comic stars for two brilliant back-to-back nights of laughter. Shows take place at 8pm, featuring 5-6 comedians on the bill nightly.

Pre-sale tickets for the festival are scheduled to go on sale on Thursday, May 18th. Tickets for the festival will officially go on sale to the public on Saturday, May 20th at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000, or visiting the Boardwalk Hall Box Office, powered by Atlantic City Electric.  Admission for each night of the festival will be sold separately.


Mike Epps is exploding on the comedy, TV and film scene with multiple upcoming roles. His latest film features include, “Acts of Violence” with action-mogul, Bruce Willis. He also co-stars alongside T.I. in “The Trap”, to begin filming in May 2017. Epps is mostly commonly known for the hit films Next Friday (2000), Friday After Next (2002) and The Hangover (2009).  Sommore is highly regarded in stand-up comedy, most known for The Queens of Comedy (2001) and comedy specials The Queens Stand Alone (2007) and Chandelier Status (2013). Sommore has also headlined the Royal Comedy Tour for five consecutive years. Comedian, Earthquake has also appeared on the Royal Comedy Tour and on the Festival of Praise. Fan favorite Tommy Davidson stars in the acclaimed comedies, Juwanna Mann (2002), Bootycall (1997) and Bamboozled (2000). Adele Givens is best-known from The Queens of Comedy (2001). Don DC Curry was featured in Next Friday (2000) and Friday After Next (2002) with Mike Epps. George Wilborn has generated his comic fandom by appearing on the Michael Baisden Radio Show.


Since its inception in 2009, the 8th Annual Atlantic City Comedy Festival has drawn a crowd of over 50,000 fans to witness the comedy industries’ finest.
